flamenco in Cordoba (Andalusie 4)

Laatste avondje in Sevilla, zijn we de lokale toer op gegaan. Samen met Kathja en Nanda Triana in. Triana is de oude zigeunerwijk van Sevilla, waar je gezellig door de kleinestraatjes kan rond dwalen. En wat meer is, er was net een 'feria'. Gans de straat vol met dans en eten. En aan de waterkant waren er allerlei waterspelletjes. Roeiwedstrijden, duikwedstrijden, ...en iedereen leefde erin mee.
Na de nogal kortere nacht vertrokken we richting Cordoba. Waar alles op maandag dicht was en reeds op zondagmiddag rond 15u sloot het eigenlijk alles. Dus dan maar snel naar het alcazar ( kasteel Columbus zijn reis naar India had voorgesteld) en het inimini synagogetje. Wat is het bloedheet in Cordoba, ik voelde mij gebakken.
Gisteren dan het hoogtepunt de Mezquita, een moskee die werd omgebouwd tot een kathedraal. Wat een vreemd gebouw...de Arabische ( Moorse bouwstijl) met de renaissance ....
In de namiddag te lui om te stappen en geen zin om weer gebraden te worden weer de hop off hop on bus op. Ik ben dan ook volledig fan geworden van deze busjes.
s'Avonds met de groep naar een flamenco avond...waw....wat waren dat goede dansers. En ook de zangeres was heel goed.
Ik zit hier maar te wiebelen met mijn tablet op de bus, onderweg naar onze laatste stop, Granada.

The last evening in Seville, we went ‘local’. Together with Katja and Nanda we went to Triana. Traina is an old ‘gipsy’ part of Seville, where you can scroll around in the small street. What’s more, when we were there, there was a ‘’feria’’. The whole street full with dance and food stables. And on the waterside there were all kinds of watergames, like diving, rowing, … and everyone loved it.
After a short night we left with our bus to Cordoba. Where everything is closed on Mondays and Sundays from 3h. So arriving on Sundays meant a hurry to see everything that we wanted to see. Like the Alcazar palace and a very little Synagogue. In the palace Columbus introduced his travel to India. So it was an interesting, historical place. But I was baked from the heat in Cordoba.
Yesterdag (Monday) I went to visit the Mezquita, a huge mosque that has been rebuild as a Cathedral. How interesting was that! Waw, so great to see the mixture of both cultures.
In the afternoon I was to lazy to walk and I didn’t want to be baked like the day before, so I took the hop off hop on bus again. (I really love these busses). In the evening we went with the group to see some professional flamenco dancers. Wow, they were awesome, loved it a lot! Especially the male dancer was good.
Now I am on the bus to Granada, what will be out last stop.
